Are you thinking about getting a rabbit? Well in this article you can read about what you need to think about before you get a rabbit.

There are many ways of getting a rabbit. Either you buy a kitten from a breeder, buy a older rabbit, rescue a rabbit or taking in a redeployment rabbit. Either way is good depending on what you want to either Support or what you have your focus on!

But before you are thinking about getting a rabbit you shall think about what you need to get for the rabbit, what you need to know and how much it cost, if you can afford the rabbit and also if you can care for the rabbit it hole life.

To begin with rabbits can be both easy to have but there will always be individuals that are harder to care for. The fact is that rabbits is a flight animal and because of that rabbits don't always show when they are in pain, that makes them "hard".

Rabbits can live for a long time. The average age for a rabbit is between 6-8 years. But they can sometimes get that old as 12-14 years. Bigger breeds you to have some years fewer to live.

Advantages:
- They are quiet
- They are long-lived
 - Generally clean pets
- They bond very closely with their owner/s
- Easy to train

 Disadvantages
- Vet care can be very expensive
- They need lots of space
- Can be hard to tell if they're sick

So before you thinking about getting a rabbit, can you keep a rabbit for 10 years? Do you have the space the rabbit need? And do you have the budget if your rabbit get sick and need care?

Really good article! How much space does a rabbit need? Can it live in a cage, like guinea pigs, or are they usually free in the house?

#2 Thank you!

It's hard to say how the smallest area for a rabbit to live on. Because there is different laws around the world. As we in Sweden have laws like this. But as I use to say, the bigger the better! Laughing
